What the plugin helps with
- Designing SAP Cloud Integration flows: senders, receivers, adapters and message processing steps.
- Adapter settings for common scenarios such as HTTP, SFTP, IDoc, OData, SOAP and Process Direct.
- Groovy scripts, XSLT and message mappings, exception handling and logging patterns.
- Reviewing iFlow designs for security, error handling and monitoring.
- Accompanying source code for a local, template-based iFlow ZIP generator you can run yourself.
What to include in a support request
- The plugin name and, if visible, its version, and the AI host you used.
- What you were trying to build, the prompt you used (redacted) and the expected versus actual result.
- Adapter types, runtime and any sanitized error text from the message processing log.
- Whether the issue occurred with a test or production tenant.
Before reporting an issue
- Check whether the SAP feature you need is generally available, in preview or tenant-specific.
- Review generated scripts, mappings, adapter settings and any iFlow ZIP contents before importing them.
- Test changes in a non-production tenant first.
Capabilities and limitations
The current release is skills-only. It provides design guidance and includes local generator source code. It does not run a publisher-operated remote MCP service, connect to your SAP Cloud Integration tenant, generate downloadable ZIPs automatically inside the AI host, or write to Git repositories. Future capabilities will be documented here and in the privacy policy and terms before they are offered.
Privacy and security concerns
Send privacy requests or suspected security issues by email with the subject SAP CPI iFlow Builder privacy request or SAP CPI iFlow Builder security report. Describe the concern without sending live credentials or sensitive records, and do not post confidential details in public GitHub issues.
Cost and availability
The plugin is free: there is no plugin-specific purchase, subscription or paid feature. Access to the AI host itself is subject to that provider's terms. SAP CPI iFlow Builder is not an official SAP product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by SAP SE, OpenAI, Microsoft or other vendors.
