Ramesh Varanganti (full name Rameshkumar Varanganti) is an SAP integration architect and Enterprise Integration Lead with 20+ years of SAP integration experience, an independent researcher, and the creator of Agentic Integration Hub.
Integration architecture, from SAP PI to AI agents
I have spent more than two decades designing and running enterprise integrations, and I built this site to document how that discipline changes when AI agents start calling governed APIs and MCP servers.
My work centres on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite: Cloud Integration (CPI, formerly HCI), API Management, Event Mesh and Integration Advisor, along with SAP Process Integration / Process Orchestration (PI/PO), Groovy scripting, and B2B/EDI integration. I have delivered integration landscapes across manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, petroleum and distribution.
In my current role I am the end-to-end point of contact for SAP Cloud Integration across a large global workforce, covering HR and workforce systems as well as ERP and commercial processes. That day-to-day ownership of production interfaces, from design and security through monitoring and incident response, is what shapes the practical, operations-first tone of the guides here.
